Another Weekend - 2022 Senior Exhibiton

“Another Weekend” was Vince’s 2022 senior exhibition, housed within the Thomas P. Kelly Student Art Gallery at Loyola Marymount University. Spanning just over a month, Vince displayed Scenic View, a 32 foot long printed panoramic image. From atop the Palisades, a significant portion of Los Angeles and the areas around are visible. The image also includes a multitude of distortions and modifications, all inspired by the physical method and steps involved in human vision.

Vince spent a significant amount of time and effort to create the digital image and behemoth print. Many late nights were spent stitching hundreds of images together, adjusting color and making modifications, and finally supervising the printer. The final print, only reaching 91% before failing, consumed 8 hours of time before being paired with a 4 foot segment on the wall. To Vince, it was well worth the time and effort.
